The Bolts Running Club Spring Sign-Up Form 2023-24

Is your child in 4th or 5th grade? Do they love games and being active? The Bolts Running Club is for them!

What: A free, before school club that encourages kids to be active through fun games and running activities. Kids will learn the fundamentals of running while building friendships and having fun. 

Who: 4th and 5th Graders

When: Before school 8:00 am-8:45 am 

Mondays, Wednesdays and  Fridays

           Rain or shine

           April 8-29  (3 weeks)

Where: Meet outside the main doors at HC Storm

             We will run outside unless it’s raining

             If raining, we will be in the gym

What to bring: Gym shoes, water bottle, appropriate clothes for outdoor weather

      The Bolts Running Club is coached by Mrs. Cleghorn and Mrs. Day.  If your child would also like to participate in Chorus they can do so by attending running club on Mondays and Wednesdays and going to chorus on Fridays.

Behavior Agreement
Our goal is for every child to feel safe and have fun at The Bolts Running Club. Our club reflects the expectations of H.C. Storm School. Please review the rules with your child and indicate your agreement.

1. Be safe: Stay in the designated area, keep hands/feet to self, use kind words
2. Be respectful: Use kind words and actions, follow coach instructions, touch only your own belongings
3. Be responsible: come prepared, get to class on time

Coaches will contact parents if a child refuses to follow the rules. After 2 calls home, the participant will be asked to not return for the remainder of the practices.
