Bairnsdale Tennis Club 30 July – 31 July 2022

EVENT REGULATIONS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The event will be a pool round robin tournament that is open to all Tennis Victoria Country Regions and
Metropolitan Associations who may enter a team of 2 boys and 2 girls who are to be 11 years of age or
under as at 31 July, 2022.

2. All players nominated must be a current registered participant of a club or centre affiliated with Tennis
Victoria that is within their country tennis region or metropolitan association they are representing. It is the
responsibility of the Regional Team Event Advisory Panel representative or metropolitan association to
ensure that all players named on the team entry form meet the above eligibility.

3. This event shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of tennis adopted by Tennis Australia and Tennis
Victoria’s event regulations and conditions. The Tennis Australia & Member Associations Code of Behaviour,
Disciplinary Policy and National Extreme Weather Policy will also apply.

4. The tournament will be conducted @ Bairnsdale TC - Cnr Pearson & Ligar Streets
Bairnsdale

5. Each round will consist of 4 singles matches and 2 mixed doubles matches with each player participating in
one singles match and one mixed doubles match per round. Matches will be one 6 game set with a
tiebreaker to be played at 6 games all. Mixed doubles matches shall be no -ad deuce, gender to gender
serving. The Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format and / or category of play based
on court availability, weather or number of team entries to ensure a timely finish for each day’s play.

6.. The tournament will commence at 9.00am Saturday 30 July 2022.

7.. The Tournament Director and Referee shall have the entire control and management of the tournament
upon commencement.
