It is now 2023, corresponding to Yanxi 79th year, and the Qing Chinese monarchy is the last surviving monarchy of the old world. We are now in an alternate universe created when, in 1898, Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu initiated attempts to transition into a Constitutional Monarchy like the British and the Japanese. A glitch in the matrix occured, leading to a critical moment in history and creating a divergence in the timeline of our history.

In our universe today, the culture of China is as traditional as it is modern, with diverse representation of ethnic minorities alongside the Han majority. Here, we now explore one of many possible ways that history might have turned out differently, resulting in different Chinese representations and cultural expressions.

This is an initial ticket reservation page. While we would love to offer as many masterclasses as possible, each masterclass requires at least 5 attendees before it can be run. We will announce the confirmed classes based on your interest.

You may opt for an all-day (12.30pm—7pm) access to the VIP lounge which is decorated with mid-century furnishing and style sofas for a more relaxed experience.

As part of the VIP lounge access, you may also gain priority admission to the events of up to 30mins before event commencement.
