RSVP below to attend the journal club and discuss the safety and efficacy parameters of Bimagrumab in community-dwelling older adults with sarcopenia compared to a placebo. Sarcopenia, as seen with advanced age, is the decline of skeletal muscle. It can lead to loss of lean muscle mass, quality and strength. Sarcopenia is associated with greater incidence of falls, fractures and loss of independent living. Currently there is limited pharmacological interventions to help treat or manage it. This paper demonstrates the clinical benefit of Bimagrumab use in the elderly population with sarcopenia.
