As we honor the extraordinary women in our lives, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to you for our upcoming Mama's Day Vendor Market. This special occasion promises to be a heartwarming and joy-filled tribute to mothers, grandmothers, and all the remarkable women who have touched our lives.

Why participate?

We will be fundraising and accepting monetary donations for Ernestine's Women's Shelter

Take part in our Mother's Day theme by decorating your table and dressing up in florals. Best themed table and best dressed vendor will each win 1 COMPLIMENTRARY table for 1 day at our next market.

*Due to the high volume of applications, only approved vendors will be contacted. 

**We promote all of our market events through the following methods: Paid FB and IG ads, flyers, posters, street signs, newspaper ads, community bulletin boards and websites to help drive community support and attendance.

All tablecloths MUST BE A SOLID BLACK and reach the floor. We will have black tablecloths available for rent (see next question) 

*You are welcome to use a branded runner or overlay over top the black tablecloth.
I would like to rent a black fabric 6FT floor length tablecloth for $25 + tax per day
I would like to rent a 6FT table for $45 + tax per day (limited supply)

I understand that once this application is approved, I have 48 hours to send the payment by e-transfer to the given address in the approval email to secure my spot. Market set up details and instructions will also be sent upon vendor approval as well as 1 week prior to the market date as a reminder. *PLEASE WATCH YOUR JUNK AND SPAM FOLDERS. *

I understand I cannot bring any other equipment/display (ex. laser machine, fridge, tent, grid walls) outside of 1-2 6FT or 4FT tables and 1-2 chairs. 
Rolling racks and large displays pieces higher than 5 feet will only be considered upon request and approval.

If you participate in more than 1 day, you are able to leave your products and tables onsite as there will be 24 hour security onsite. We suggest that you bring extra tablecloths to cover your tables. *

I understand that liability insurance is REQUIRED based on the number of days I will be attending the market, naming Local Luxe Market Ltd. as the additional insured.

Vendor is responsible to bring their own 6 foot tables (1-2 tables permitted in L-shape), BLACK floor length tablecloth (no plastic tablecloths permitted), chair (NO CAMP STYLE CHAIRS PERMITTED) and trolley for loading and unloading if needed as there will not be any trolleys available at this location. Stock/boxes and trolleys etc. must not be visible behind your table and should be tucked underneath the table or put away in your vehicle. *

I understand that there is only 1 business per table and that I am not to share products or services from another business at my table. Failure to abide by this will result in your removal from the event with no refund.

All vendors are responsible for their set-up, take down and their own garbage removal at the end of the market. Cleanup must be complete by 10pm on Friday, 7pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday. *

I acknowledge that my vendor space must be set up 15 mins prior to market start time. Failure to do so may result in the removal of my vendor table. *

I will not damage, steal or vandalize the property where the market event is taking place. *

I understand that under no circumstances will I begin to pack up my table and products prior to the market closing time, this includes if my products sell out. We encourage you to bring order forms or an iPad to show your products online for customers to purchase if you do sell out before the end of the day. Failure to abide by this rule will result in termination from any future Local Luxe Market event and an additional $100 fee will apply. *

Local Luxe Market Ltd. will abide by government restrictions due to Covid-19 and a refund or credit for a future date cannot be granted for vendors that do not/cannot attend. In the event that the market cannot run due to a full Covid-19 shutdown we will grant vendors with a credit towards a future market date. *

Vendors will be forfeited their rental amount and vendor space if they cannot comply with the above set-up instructions. Also vendors who have confirmed a spot and submitted payment but do not show up due to illness etc. on the market date will forfeit their rental amount. *

Food Vendors Only - I understand I will be required to fill out the Region of Halton Health Inspection Vendor application via online link (to be provided by LLM) and submitted 2-3 weeks prior to the event for final approval. I understand that Local Luxe Market will be required to disclose that my business is selling food at the market to Public Health to follow government food safety guidelines and that a copy of my report will be requested by Public Health. Failing to provide the certificate upon request could result in a fine from Halton Public Health. *

To help with the success of our event, we ask that participating vendors post their involvement in our event leading up to the date. We will have event flyers created and tag our partnering vendors and sponsors, we ask that you share to your social media as well. *

Local Luxe Market Ltd. will do our best to host a successful market however, we will not be held responsible if vendors do not turn a profit or generate sales during our event. *

Would you like to be a sponsor of our market event? As a paid sponsor you will be included in all of our advertising materials such as flyers, posters, social media posts, website, newspaper and mentioned during the event. 

As one of our participating vendors take advantage of our Sponsorship Package rate of $350.

Includes: Your business logo advertised on a permanent basis in our Local Luxe Market website, as well as featured on all our social media accounts under sponsors. Your logo featured on our market flyers, posters and your business logo posted at our market! Mention of being a sponsor on our newspaper advertisement, distribution of your businesses promo flyers, cards or sample products during the duration of our market!

Organizers are not responsible for any lost or stolen goods. I do hereby assume all responsibility for my own items, goods and services. *

I abide to treat guests, fellow vendors and show organizers with respect leading up to and during the event. 

Local Luxe Market is an inclusive safe space for everyone. We have a zero tolerance policy. Therefore, I agree that any slander towards the event organizers, guests and other vendors/makers before, during or after the market will result in my termination from the event with no refund granted. This includes bullying, verbal and physical harassment. You will be asked to cover your table and asked to leave only to return after the market closes.

Vendors who have confirmed a spot and submitted payment but decide to forego their space due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, stock issues, family emergency etc. on the market date, will forfeit their rental amount. You are welcome to have someone else attend to promote YOUR business on your behalf in the event of any of the above situations. 
We do NOT offer any type of refund and will NOT offer credit to a future market date.

I allow the market directors to use any image or company logo to help promote the event or future events. *

The organizers have the right to reschedule the event due to any unforeseen situation such as but not limited to weather, lockdowns, or any other uncontrollable circumstance. In the event of these such occurrence/s my payment will be rolled forward to another market date. This includes postponement due to Covid-19. *
