Whether you are available for 30 minutes or several hours per week, PTA has so many FUN and REWARDING volunteer opportunities for you to choose from. Remember, PTA is only able to run these awesome programs with the help of parent volunteers. Please select your areas of interest in serving our Bengal community, and a member of our PTA board will reach out with more information. *Fall Festival: Planning committee or help on the day of the event - October 28.

*Reflections: Support PTA National Art Contest as chairperson or on committee (organizing student submissions, recruiting judges, etc.). Event runs through October.

*ACE (Afterschool Classroom Enrichment): Help with student check-in/dismissal - volunteers can get a $10 credit towards their child's ACE class. Starts 9/13/22 and goes through 11/10/22 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You can volunteer for one day, check in or check out, or for all days.

*Book Fair: October 24-28

Bengal Safety Committee (parking lot and pick-up/drop-off lane safety enforcement)

BrainStorm STEM (1st-5th grade): Provide support on-campus when needed

Lunchtime Activities: Guide students with creative projects during lunch. Activities and direction will be provided.

Spelling Bee

Silent Auction Fundraiser: Collect items and donations, assemble baskets, prepare for the Gala, etc.

Cultural Event: January 26, 2023 (tentative)

5th Grade Boys "Guy Talk" / 5th Grade Girls "Girl Talk" (parent/child health education)

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 1-5, 2023

IUSD Tournament of Champions (Winter Bowl, Hoops Classic, Harvest Cup): 1. Volley Fest (Nov. 6, 7th/8th grades only); 2. Harvest Cup (Dec. 2-3); 3. Winter Bowl (Jan. 28); 4. Hoops Classic (Mar. 17-19). You can coordinate one or more tournaments. Coordinators do not have to attend the tournaments. We also need coaches for each grade level participating in each tournament.
