Looking for a fun and interesting after school activity that won’t break the bank?  Then join us at Jefferson Patterson Park for our Native Skills after school series.

Jan 30, Pottery: Learn how Native Americans took clay from the ground and turned it into all sorts of amazing creations.

Feb 6, Painting with Earthen Pigments: Join us as we take local rocks and turn them into pigments and create one of a kind pieces of art.

Feb 13, Bracelets and Beads: Starting with nothing but some plants and rocks participants will create their own string and beads to make a one of a kind bracelet.

Feb 20, Cattail Sculpture: Join us as we turn the simple cattail into a bunch of different sculptures, from dolls to ducks.

Feb 27, Pottery Firing: Join us for s'mores and stories as we fire all the clay creations that folks made and turn them into permanent one of a kind works of art!
