VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The 2024 summer program runs from June 20th to July 31st. Volunteers must commit to a regular schedule and daily assignment(s). Volunteers are responsible for working with the program in a variety of ways, and with a variety of ages and grade levels; however, your two most important responsibilities are: 1) to be a positive role model for ALL Horizons students and 2) to lend your time and talents to the staff, all in support of the Horizons mission.

Your primary role is to assist teachers and other staff members with delivering our academic curriculum, enrichment, maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere on campus, and building a successful relationship with Horizons students, staff, and families.

At the end of their time with Horizons, volunteers will be asked to provide a brief personal reflection regarding their community service experience at Horizons and engage in an exit interview.

Volunteering for Horizons is a serious commitment that should be met with a sense of professionalism and dedication. Please submit your preferred volunteer schedule, choosing from the options provided in this application. Horizons will ultimately set the volunteer schedule based on the needs of the program and the summer calendar. You will be contacted by email the week of March 18th, 2024 as to your acceptance into the Horizons Volunteer Program, your work schedule and to receive further information.
