Grafting Workshop

April 30th from 10:00am to 12:30pm
Instructor: Jim Turner, Horticulturist

During this workshop, you will learn how to graft scions (twigs) from one type of fruit tree to the root stock (branch/trunk) of a different type. With this skill you can create apple trees with multiple varieties grown on them or turn unproductive crab apples into productive eating apples. At the end of the workshop you will take home a tree you grafted.


Course fee: $40 for the workshop (includes supplies to graft and take home 1 tree).
If you would like to take home multiple tree you can pre-order additional scion/rootstock for $20 per stock/scion pair (limit 3/per person)
