Musicals and Program Help: Please choose which volunteer opportunities you would like to help with this year. You can pick as many as you wish.

Costume creating (glue, cut, sort, stick, tape small costume parts)

Costume creating (sewing, fabrics, etc.)

Costume creating (finding and purchasing materials)

Setting and Props (creating posters, lettering, pictures, stickers, large backgrounds, painting, cutting, gluing, etc)

Setting and Props (large sets, wood cutting, building, platforms, working with pvc pipping, etc.)

Set Up and Tear Down (setting out chairs and risers, setting up the stage and removing the rolling wall before or after a music program)

Sound System (running the sound during a show including playing and pausing songs and adjusting volume. This is way easier than it sounds.)

Classroom Costume Helpers (help students get into and out of costumes before and after a performance. This might include pinning on wings, tying bandanas, face paint, etc.)

Door Greeters (once the doors open for students and community, stand at the door and hand out programs)

Other Ways to Volunteer in Music: We always love to have special guests come visit us in music. Maybe you have a talent to share, or you just want to come have some fun making music with the students, or even stay behind the scenes and help create musical games and worksheets for our students.

I would love to come share my talent (play an instrument, talk about a subject, teach a musical activity, help with a unit like ukulele, drumming or recorder, share a cultural song or dance, etc.)

I would love to come help during class (helping with musical centers, small group projects, read a book, music arts and crafts, small games, etc.)

I would love to help students prepare for musicals (work with students on their lines, work with students on acting or dancing, work with a small group to learn their songs, etc)

I want to help behind the scenes (copy, make, cut, sort musical manipulatives and games)

I want to help behind the scenes (making copies, helping with bulletin boards, etc.)
