Encore Performing Arts Class Registration Form 2021-2022 - Aladdin Junior
Class Days/Times:
Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm
Dates: Oct 21, 28, 30, Nov 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, Dec 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, Jan 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29

Fee:  The participation fee is $150, payable in full at the first rehearsal or in two equal installments, due October 21 (first class) and Dec 2.  The fee includes theatre instruction, rehearsal materials, participant t-shirt, 2 tickets to one show, and major costume pieces.

Audition info:  Auditions will be held DURING the second class on October 28.  Students ages 8-14 are eligible to participate in the class.  As a part of the first class, we will discuss audition techniques and strategies, talk through the audition scenes, and learn a portion of a dance.  For the second class, please prepare a 30-second to 1 minute cut of a song to sing solo.  We will have the ability to plug in a phone or iPod to a speaker for accompaniment, or you may sing acapella.  In addition, we will perform scenes and the dance we learned in week 1.  

Shows:                                                          
We plan to have 2 shows on Saturday January 29th at the Fitton Center in Hamilton!
 
Expectations:
Participants will make every effort to be at ALL scheduled classes in their entirety.
Participants must be attentive and follow the direction provided by the Directors and Assistants.  
Participants are expected to practice lines, dances, and songs on their own at home in addition to rehearsal time to ensure proficiency.

Primary communication will happen through the BAND app.
