Digimon Links continuation prospects

A lot of Digimon Links players are shocked by the game shutting down and want someone to build a replacement that will be run by fans.

We can do this, but we need to understand what people actually want to play and therefore what is worth building. Ultimately we can build anything, but if it is quickly abandoned or not used at all, our efforts will go to waste, and we want to avoid that. To help us understand what to build, please answer the following questions about what you really want to play.

Would you play Digimon Links? *

We could build a new server for Digimon Links. It would replace Bandai Namco’s servers, and you could keep playing the same game, on your same phone/tablet/emulator, with the new server.

No, I don’t want to play Digimon Links at all.

I would play except if an online Colosseum simulator was also available.

Would you play an online Colosseum simulator? *

We could adapt Pokémon Showdown to simulate Digimon Links battles instead of Pokémon. It would be a separate website where you could select an arbitrary team (possibly within power limits determined by the community, or possibly generate a random team) and battle another player right in your Web browser. If all goes well, you could even spectate other people’s battles and view recordings later. There might be a ranking of all players.

No, I don’t want to play such a simulator at all.

I would play such a simulator, but only if the actual Digimon Links game was no longer available.
