We ship gear and equipment to fire departments that we are working with in both Nicaragua and Guatemala (Central America). We accept gear and equipment that is in clean and serviceable condition. Please consider the firefighters and their safety when you donate your clean and serviceable gear and/or equipment. Please see our specifications below regarding the gear and equipment you are interested in donating. Due to the amount of inquiries we receive, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please understand that we have to keep our standards high in order to keep these firefighters safe. With that said, we will decline any gear or equipment that does not meet our standards.
Receiving the Gear and Equipment:
-It would be a huge blessing to our ministry if you could drop off the donated items at our building in Gastonia, North Carolina or for local pickups we can pick them up after the arrangements are made. Please understand we volunteer to do this and we have to work around schedules.
-We ask that the gear is clean and in serviceable condition prior to donating to FFM.
***Please understand that this gear or equipment will be donated to a firefighter in a third world country and their safety is our priority. We ask that you take the time to check the gear and/or equipment and only donate it if you feel someone would be safe while wearing it on an emergency. We are promoting safety and we do not want to put anyone's life at risk!***
