9. Children wearing personal flotation devices (water wings, lifejackets) must have adult supervision

required for all kids 8 and under AND at the discretion of the life guards or pool manager.
14. Dangerous practices are prohibited. Patrons must not run on decks; climb, sit or jump from fences;
dive in water less than 9 feet deep; double bounce or crowd diving boards; or dunk, push, pull or
unnecessarily splash swimmers.
15. Emergency procedures must be observed. Swimmers must leave the pool area immediately upon
the signal or request of the Pool Manager or lifeguards.
16. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated. Any bullying will be grounds for ejection from the
WSC property.

the shelter of the locker room or their car. The pool will normally open fifteen (15) minutes after
the storm has passed.
20. There will be a few days during each summer season when the pool will be closed for a short period
during regular hours in order to host a WSC swim or dive meet, or a special event such as a team
banquet. These dates will be posted at the beginning of the summer on the WSC website and in the
office. During these closed hours, WSC members have the option to swim at the Norwood Swim
Club, located in the south end of the Woodridge community. Norwood Swim Club members also
retain the reciprocal right to use our pool facility during these similar events.
21. Rentals of the Woodridge Swim Club facility are available for various prices to members who are in

A WSC member MUST be present during the entire duration of the party or private event.

be asked to leave the pool facility if a second offense occurs.

Please visit our website at www.woodridgeswimclub.org for a copy of these WSC pool policies, as well
as for more details on membership, lessons, swim or dive team, and more.
We thank you for helping to make the Woodridge Swim Club a wonderful place for its members.
