While we are really impressed with all the work our young people are doing at home to keep on top of learning and do all the Google Classroom tasks, we also want to take the chance to give recognition to what individuals are doing to support family and friends while at home. This form is designed for you to submit a friend/ your child/ a IA pupil (or yourself if you want to) who has been an unsung hero at home this week in terms of helping people cope with lockdown/ raised their spirits/ relieved their stress level.

This might be someone who has done something positive to support others e.g.
1) They've done an extra task at home to help out a stressed parent without being asked.
2) They took the time to get in touch with you to check in that you are coping with lockdown even though they didn't have to do.
3) They dropped something off at your house to show you they care.
4) They invited you out for some outside exercise/ a dog walk (socially distanced of course!) that stopped you going stir-crazy inside.

THIS IS AN AWARD FOR THOSE GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND AT HOME SO "IS DOING ALL THEIR SCHOOL WORK" ON ITS OWN IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO RECEIVE AN AWARD. EXCELLENT WORK IS REWARDED BY THE VIRTUAL STARS AWARD.
