HAA Greek Theater Program Sign Up
Hellenic American Academy is excited to offer a Greek Theater Program!  Our goal is for students to use their Greek language knowledge through the context of stories, characters and themes to create diverse language inputs in a natural and immersive context but also, to create a connection between the learning content and the students. This makes the learning experience more meaningful, memorable, motivational, and ultimately more successful in retaining knowledge.

Reading Basic Greek required. Everyone is welcome to audition. 
You are also welcome to prepare something of your own for the audition.

Fee is $360/child for the school year. 21 sessions plus formal theatrical production to the public Spring 2024.
Payment Fee is required after confirmed cast selection. No fee to audition.

Permission and Waivers *
 I give our child permission to attend the Hellenic American Academy Greek Drama Club. By signing below, I represent that I have provided the Hellenic American Academy (the school) full and accurate information about my child, have read and accepted the terms of Fees, agree to abide by all such policies and to be responsible for the timely payment of such fees pursuant to the terms and conditions of same. I consent to our child’s participation in the Lenten Retreat program. I fully waive and release the Hellenic American Academy, the School, its administrators, teachers and employees, the School Board, Board of Trustees and any other related entities as well as the owner of the building and premises, together with their respective officers, directors, representatives, agents and volunteers (individually and collectively “Indemnified Party”) from any and all liability, damages or responsibility, except for liability arising from gross negligence or fraud, which may arise on or off School premises, in transit to or from the School, or otherwise in connection with any School program or activity. I also confirm that I have notified the School in writing of any special issues or needs our child has and have discussed those issues or needs with the School Administrators. I understand it is our responsibility to notify the School if my child’s records need to be updated with any important information especially emergency information. In the event that neither I, nor my spouse, or specified guardian/emergency contact can be reached in an emergency, I give the School or any Indemnified Party permission to seek medical advice or attention or to arrange emergency transportation and treatment at the nearest hospital, if School or Indemnified Party in its/their sole discretion deems such action reasonably necessary under the circumstances and I accept responsibility for any expenses associated with same In case of an emergency, the School and its staff have my/our permission to give First Aid treatment. If matters arise relating to whether or how the School can properly service or care for my child and/or for serious disciplinary or safety matters, then School Administrators may need to record, document, photograph and/or disclose certain academic, medical and/or behavioral information about my child with members of the School Board or the Executive Committee of the HAA Board of Trustees or their advisors on a confidential basis for purposes of deciding a course of action and I irrevocably consent to same.  I recognize the School is a not-for-profit organization of limited means. As such, in the event that (i) I file a lawsuit, administrative action or other proceeding against the School or any Indemnified Party , or (ii) the School is required to file a lawsuit, administrative action other proceeding to enforce its contractual rights or otherwise, and in either case such action results in a dismissal or decision in favor of School/Indemnified Party, then in addition to such other relief awarded to the School/Indemnified Party I agree to pay School/Indemnified Party for all fees and costs (including without limitation reasonable attorney fees) incurred by School/Indemnified Party in connection thereto. I have read this Registration document carefully and fully understand its contents and have signed it voluntarily of my/our own free will. I acknowledge that the foregoing includes a release from liability for my child and I knowingly assume any risk of injury or illness. By selecting agree below, I confirm that I have full authority to make the authorizations granted here and that no other party’s permission is required.
