From Canvas to Code: Art, Science, and Innovation in the Digital Age - Friday 17th November 2023, Wolfson College, University of Oxford

Join us for an extraordinary journey at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, where the worlds of art, science, and innovation converge to redefine the boundaries of human creativity. Building upon the success of "From Canvas to Cognition: pathways to an interdisciplinary creation" (October, 2023), we present our second event “From Canvas to Code: Art, Science, and Innovation in the Digital Age” captivating a fusion of disciplines.

This dynamic gathering unites students, researchers, leading scientists, artists, and tech visionaries to explore the interplay between art, science, innovation, AI, and technology. Through a rich tapestry of talks, hands-on workshops, and thought-provoking research presentations, we delve into the profound connections between these fields.

Attendees will witness how art and science are brought to life by the AI-driven scientific discoveries and data visualization to the artistic interpretation of scientific concepts. Our event will delve into the historical and technological milestones that have shaped our world where we will reflect on how art and science have always been intertwined, and how they are now being redesigned in the digital age.

Whether you're an artist seeking new inspirations in scientific concepts, a scientist intrigued by the artistic expressions of your field, or a tech enthusiast looking to explore the limitless possibilities at the intersection of these disciplines, we would love to hear about your research project! Our event promises to ignite your imagination.
