Who is Gida Housing Co-operative? 

We are co-operative whose members are from the communities we aim to serve. 

Our vision is to be an affordable housing provider which empowers under-represented communities, by giving them influence and collective control over the management and maintenance of their own homes, as a response to the poor quality and insecure private rented housing many have had to endure. 

Our values are aligned with co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and unity. In the tradition of their founders, co-operative members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others. Gida will focus on the under-represented communities in the London Borough of Haringey to live in decent affordable housing creating stabile and diverse communities on the St Ann’s Hospital site. 

To enable members of the local community to understand the housing needs of our community, we need your support in completing the survey.

The survey has 3 sections, the first is about your current home and household, the second is about your housing need and the third is about your views on any future housing.

As well as helping us understand your housing needs, you can also join us a member where we will keep you up to date about our campaign to build affordable homes in Haringey and our work as a co-operative. If you want, we will provide you the results of this survey and if you tick the box on becoming a member, we will send you additional information and keep you up to date.
