மதுரை விமான நிலையத்தின் நிலையை கஸ்டம்ஸ் விமான நிலையத்திலிருந்து முழு அளவிலான சர்வதேச விமான நிலையமாக உயர்த்துவதற்காக FOTO (Forum of Tour Organisers) உறுப்பினர்கள் சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஒரு பொதுநல மனுவை தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளோம். எனவே, மாண்புமிகு இந்திய பிரதமர் தலைமையிலான மத்திய அமைச்சரவை மட்டுமே மதுரை விமான நிலையத்தை சர்வதேச விமான நிலையமாக மாற்றுவதற்கான அதிகாரங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளனர். இந்த விவகாரத்தை மத்திய அமைச்சரவை மற்றும் பிரதமர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் செல்ல நம்மில் எத்தனை பேர் ஆர்வமாக இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதை அறிய ஒரு கருத்துக் கணிப்பை நடத்துகிறோம்.

We the members of FOTO (Forum of Tour Organisers) have filed a PIL in Hon’ble High Court of  Madras to elevate the status of Madurai airport from Customs airport to  full fledged  International airport. Since, only the Union cabinet headed by the Hon’ble Prime minister of India is vested with the powers to promote Madurai airport as an International airport, we are conducting a poll to know how many of us will be interested to take up the matter to the Union cabinet and Prime minister’s office.
