DEI Chair - Primary Job Function: The purpose of this position will focus on the education and advocacy of diversity, equity and inclusion that is aligned with OTAO Taskforce Plan. This role includes but is not limited to inclusive/cultural accountability for both Board members and organizational decisions.The DEI Chair/Co-Chair will also act as a liaison between board and community members for ongoing big picture DEI vision. Term: 2 years Procedures: Attend all board meetings, ultilize OTAO Taskforce plan to ensure culturally sensitive professional presentations, evidence-based publications focused on DEI and other resources to facilitate the development of cultural humility, cultural awareness/sensitivity to provide client-centered and culturally relevant services.

Legislative Committee Chair - Primary Job Function: Work with lobbyist and Board of Directors, assist, create and carry out action plans to defend or assist OT practice in Oregon. Term: 2 years. Procedures: Attend all board meetings, collaborate with the State of Oregon Occupational Licensing Board for both legislative and licensing issues, collaborate with AOTA on both state and federal legislative issues that effect OT practice in Oregon.

Continuing Education Committee Chair - Primary Job Function: Coordinate the activities of OTAO and Regional Representatives to promote continuing education to the membership, including quarterly CE events and annual conference. Term: 2 years

Annual Conference Chairperson(s) - Primary Job Functions: Work with team. Determine format of conference (virtual/hybrid/in person, coordinate speakers, vendors/sponsors, awards & scholarships

Marketing Committee Chair - Primary Job Function: Coordinates the functions of the marketing, to meet the needs of the community practitioners and market the functions of OTAO. Term: 2 years Complete public relations and advertising activities Assist in the recruitment of new OTAO members through marketing Maintain OTAO product lines Maintain accurate records regarding financial expenditures Report activities to social media and website Coordinate maintenance and assure accuracy of website and social media accounts

Secretary Co-Chair - Primary Job Function: Supportsmembership growth by actively recruiting, retaining, and engaging members by identifying potential new members, contact lapsed members, and engage current members. Provide input and feedback regarding membership needs, programs and policies. Term: 2 years

Faculty Representative: Linn-Benton - Primary Role: to represent the perspective of the faculty from Linn-Benton. Term: a minimum of one year Shall be a liaison between faculty and the Board of Directors and a voting member of the Board of Directors Duties: Provide the board with updated information on issues affecting the education of the OT profession

Regional Director for West NW PDX - Primary Job Function: Act as a liaison between OTAO and the membership in their region Term: 2 years Procedures: Attend board meetings (4-6 per year) Organize regional meetings and/or OT Night Out events Coordinate continuing education events as appropriate to meet the needs of the region Respond to inquiries about OTAO from (Clatsop, Tillamook, Washington & Yamhill Counties) newly licensed therapists and/or prospective members

Regional Director for East NW PDX (Columbia & Multnomah Counties) - Primary Job Function: Act as a liaison between OTAO and the membership in their region Term: 2 years Procedures: Attend board meetings (4-6 per year) Organize regional meetings and/or OT Night Out events Coordinate continuing education events as appropriate to meet the needs of the region Respond to inquiries about OTAO from newly licensed therapists and/or prospective members

Regional Director for Eastern Oregon (Gilliam, Morrow, Umitilla, Union, Wallowa, Harney, Wheeler, Grand, Baker & Malheur Counties) - Primary Job Function: Act as a liaison between OTAO and the membership in their region Term: 2 years Procedures: Attend board meetings (4-6 per year) Organize regional meetings and/or OT Night Out events Coordinate continuing education events as appropriate to meet the needs of the region Respond to inquiries about OTAO from newly licensed therapists and/or prospective members

Regional Director for South Willamette Valley (Coos, Douglas & Lane Counties) - Primary Job Function: Act as a liaison between OTAO and the membership in their region Term: 2 years Procedures: Attend board meetings (4-6 per year) Organize regional meetings and/or OT Night Out events Coordinate continuing education events as appropriate to meet the needs of the region Respond to inquiries about OTAO from newly licensed therapists and/or prospective members
