Social and Emotional Learning
A definition of Social Emotional Learning: Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which we learn to recognize and manage emotions, care about others, make good decisions, behave ethically and responsibly, develop positive relationships, and avoid negative behaviors.
Some of the elements included in a social and emotional approach to learning are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
In an effort to expand and implement programs that provide for our students' needs, we are asking you to please complete the questions below. Your responses will help to shape the program.
