After a disaster, people and organizations come together to help. To make the most of your contributions, it's important you as a volunteer or an organization are connected with an intra-county agencies so your services will provide the greatest good to the greatest number of people, in the shortest amount of time.
It is incredibly important NOT TO SELF-DEPLOY. It is not safe to enter a disaster zone without knowing and having information public services concerning the disaster, the nature of impacts, and help that is needed within the community.
