Scholarship Information & Requirements
The purpose of this scholarship application is to assist students who are unable to meet any or part of the $785 tuition for the 2022 intensive. Please review and ensure you meet requirements before applying.
 
Amount Available:  Full or partial scholarships awarded based on need to a limited number of participants.

Requirements:
To qualify for a scholarship, your family income must qualify as low-income as defined by the Department of Housing and Human Services for the calendar year 2021 (https://www.laalmanac.com/social/so24.php The first column in the attached graph).
Students who receive scholarships to the program must attend all scheduled classes and performances. Students who miss any sessions will not be eligible for additional scholarships in the future.
You must provide proof of income and family size.

Please provide proof of income, such as tax returns or pay stubs for two to three months. Please hide any personal information such as an address, social security number, or date of birth before sharing this information.

If your family does not file a tax return, call the IRS at (800) 829-1040 or go to www.irs.gov to download Form 4506-T and request a Verification of Non-Filing letter to submit instead of the tax return. You will then need to provide additional proof of other income (i.e., child support, food stamps, unemployment checks, monthly government assistance, or workers compensation checks)
