Transportation Survey - Historic Drawbridge Half
We want to make sure that everyone feels safe in getting to the start line of the Historic Drawbridge Half on Saturday, November 7th, 2020. In 2019, all athletes HAD to ride the bus from the finish line area (Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum) to the start line. In 2020, in response to concerns regarding COVID-19, we are offering the bus option (leave the Maritime Museum by 730 SHARP) with limited seating (25 people per bus, instead of 50), or the option to have someone drop you off at the start. Those staying at the Wylder Hotel, or other B and Bs in the Tilghman area, there is also an option for us to shuttle you back, at the end of the race.

We ARE working on some off-site parking in Tilghman Island, but there are very few options there for mass parking. The host hotel has a wedding on Saturday night, so they cannot accomodate an additional 200 vehicles that morning.

Please let us know what you are considering, so that we can get the appropriate number of buses. Thank you for your help! This doesn't lock you in stone, but gives us a good idea!
