The Championship Vision Podcast Clinic Series is a one of a kind basketball coaching instructional clinics. We will have the best high school basketball coaches in the country sharing their secrets to their success of their programs. We will have two types of Virtual clinic- LECTURE AND ON-COURT INSTRUCTIONAL. Both of these will be done to provide you the best instructional resources to improve your basketball program.

LECTURE: These will be Zoomcast instructional lectures done with the highest of integrity. We will have the best high school basketball coaches in the country giving detailed analysis of their programs.

ON-COURT INSTRUCTION: These will be recorded videos of specific basketball topics done on-court from the best high school coaches in America. They will be conducting drills and skills with their players in an on-court instructional setting.

A Brief Biography on Coach Smith:Gary Smith '64 began his University of Redlands basketball career as a student, earning First Team All-SCIAC honors for three years, along with being twice named to the NAIA All-District First Team and receiving an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. In 1963, he won the National Free Throw Championship by posting an amazing 90.1% from the line. In 1971, he joined the University of Redlands coaching staff. Since taking over Bulldog men's basketball, he has posted over 400 wins during the past 35 seasons. In 1985, Smith was honored by his peers as the NCAA West Region Coach of the Year. In the late 1980s, Smith moved to an up-tempo offense known as the Triangle and coached the Bulldogs to three National Scoring Championships in 1989, 1991, and 1992. Beginning in 2002-03, Smith adopted a run-and-gun style of offense that enables the team to trade threes for twos, and in 2004-05 the Bulldogs established a new NCAA record for all divisions with 132.4 points per game. Smith also captured Lee Fulmer Memorial Tournament Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2006, earning back-to-back titles for the first time since 1959 and 1960. The Bulldogs and the "system" have gained recognition in publications like the Los Angeles Times and ESPN: The Magazine.

Coach Durden is entering year sixteen as head girl's coach of the Buford Lady Wolves. He is originally from Midville, GA and played basketball at Coastal Community College in Brunswick, GA., where he received an Associate Degree in Business. He then attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. He teaches Personal Fitness and Team Sports classes at Buford High School. Overall, Coach Durden is in his 33th season as a head coach. This past year the Lady Wolves achieved a 31 and 1 and won the 5A State Championship for fourth straight year. Durden's Lady Wolves have played in ten of the past twelve state championship games, while winning the state titles in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2011, 2010 and 2009. The Lady Wolves were also state runners up in 2014 and 2012. In 2019, the Lady Wolves achieved a 29-2 record and won their third straight state championship in class 5A.  In 2018, the Lady Wolves achieved a 29 and 3 record and won their second state championship in class 5A.  In 2017, the Lady Wolves achieved a 29 and 2 record and won their first state championship in class 5A.  In 2015, the Lady Wolves achieved a 30 and 3 record and won the 4A State Championship. In 2011, the Lady Wolves achieved a 29 – 3 record and won the 2A State Championship for the third straight year. In 2010, the Lady Wolves achieved a 29 – 4 record and won the 2A State Championship for the second straight time in Buford High School history. In 2009, Buford won its first 2A State Championship in Durden's fourth year of taking over the program. The 2009 team had a 32 – 1 record and set the stage and expectations for the years to come. Durden's 31st coaching season also brought in another milestone in his coaching career when he accomplished winning over 800 career wins during the 2018/2019 season. Durden’s overall career record is 839 and 215.  During the fifteen years at the helm of the Buford basketball program, Durden has guided the Lady Wolves to 8 state championships, 2 state runner ups, 10 region championships and a program record of 406 – 71. Jerry Finkbeiner is in his eighth season as the head women’s basketball coach at Utah State.Finkbeiner (pronounced Fink-by-ner) was named the ninth head coach in USU program history on April 26, 2012. He is just the second male coach in Utah State history, joining Bob Corbin, who was the Aggies’ coach from 1984-86. Finkbeiner is only the second USU coach since the reinstatement of the program in 2003, when Raegan Pebley took over.Finkbeiner has an overall record of 570-366 (.609) in 30 years as a collegiate head coach, including his time at Utah State, Oral Roberts (1996-2013) and Southern Nazarene (1991-96). He is also 24th in the nation among active Division I coaches with his 570 career wins.  During the 2018-19 season, Finkbeiner led the Aggies to their largest turnaround in program history after improving by 10 wins to go 17-16 overall, including 10-8 in Mountain West action. Utah State competed in the Women’s Basketball Invitational for its ninth postseason appearance in program history, where the Aggies recorded their first postseason win since the 2010-11 season in the opening round of the WBI with a 68-60 victory over UC Riverside (March 20). USU also posted its largest margin of victory, 71, in program history in its 106-35 win over Northern New Mexico College (Nov. 9).  Finkbeiner came to Utah State from Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Okla., where he spent 16 years as head coach. During his tenure at ORU, the Golden Eagles averaged 17 wins per season and advanced to postseason play eight times with five trips to the NCAA Tournament and three appearances in the WNIT.As the head coach at Oral Roberts, Finkbeiner led the Golden Eagles to seven Summit League regular season and tournament titles and six 20-win seasons. At ORU, Finkbeiner coached five All-Americans, eight conference players of the year, five conference newcomers of the year and 26 all-conference selections. He was named conference coach of the year twice during his ORU tenure. In his six years prior to ORU, Finkbeiner led Southern Nazarene to three-straight NAIA national titles and a combined 99-4 record from 1994 to 1996. Finkbeiner posted a 186-20 record in six seasons at SNU. During his career at Southern Nazarene, Finkbeiner coached nine NAIA All-Americans and a two-time NAIA Player of the Year, while five of his players went on to play professional basketball overseas.During his tenure at Southern Nazarene, Finkbeiner’s coaching achievements did not go unnoticed, as he was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 1994, 1995 and 1996. He was also named as the College Sports Magazine and Converse National Coach of the Year in 1995. Finkbeiner was named the NAIA District 9 Coach of the Year in 1993 and the Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year from 1992 to 1996.

Jefferson Mason is currently the partnership manager, marketing lead and product captain at Dr. Dish Basketball. As a player, Jefferson was named to the All-American Team at Minnesota State Mankato where he played in the Division II Final Four. Following college Jefferson embarked on a five year professional career that included stops in Germany, Romania, Luxembourg, and the NBA D League .Following his playing career Jefferson was the Director of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx Youth Basketball Academy where he worked with young players to help them improve their basketball skills. Jefferson has worked as an NBA Skills Trainer and is a player development specialist. When an opportunity came his way to work for Dr. Dish Jefferson joined the company that makes the most advanced shooting machines on the market today, including the brand new CT Model. Jefferson is responsible for content creation, marketing, and partnerships at Dr. Dish. He also attends clinics and events throughout the country representing the Dr. Dish Brand.

Coach Rob Beucler has been at Eastern High School for 41 years.  He has coached 25 years of Varsity Boy’s Basketball at Eastern High School. Prior to that he coached 2 years of Junior High girls and then 14 years of freshmen and junior varsity boys (222-108 ) and helped as the varsity assistant.  He has accumulated  an overall Varsity record of 392- 181 going into this year.  He has  been honored as 5 time Coach of the SHL (SHAC) and the 2 Southeast District COY and has been Associated Press Ohio - Coach of the Year Division III in 2000.  During his coaching tenure they have won 8 league championships, 12  Sectional Titles, 4 District Titles, 1 Regional Title, and made a State Final Four appearance in 2002. Jeff Graham became the head coach of Belt’s girls’ basketball team before the 2007-2008 season. At that time he was the head football coach in Belt while also serving as the head assistant coach for the University of Great Falls women’s basketball team. Graham has remained in the Belt community ever since. He has served as an assistant and head track coach since 2008 and became the athletic director in 2012. Belt has won 19 divisional championships since 2007 in football, girls’ basketball, and track.This past season the Lady Huskies were crowned “Co-Champions” after their semifinal victory in the state tournament. The Lady Huskies played Saturday night at the State Tournament for 10 straight years from the 2007-2008 season to the 2016-2017 season. The Belt girls have won 6 of the past 9 State Championships.During Graham’s tenure at Belt there have been 10 girls who have went on to play Frontier basketball.  These players have helped the Huskies win 11 consecutive Conference and District Tournament along with 7 Divisional Tournaments. Graham has been fortunate enough to have amazing assistant coaches such as Suzy Maki, Renzi Horton, and Mollie Rose. These assistants have helped guide the Lady Huskies to a 318-34 record over the past 13 seasons.Graham’s biggest success in life is his family. He married Megan Schmitz, a University of Montana-Western Hall of Famer he met while the two were playing college basketball there. His wife Megan has been an assistant coach for the boys’ basketball team and is currently an assistant for Cross Country and Track.They have been blessed with 4 amazing children. Cadence, 11, is an Elks Free Throw State Champion and her sister Ellison, 9, is a two-time Elks Free Throw Regional Champion. Their brothers Jace (6) and Jimmer (2) love every sport and keep their parents on their toes. Graham is a fourth generation coach and athletic director. His dad coached him in football, basketball, and track at Chester, Montana where the Coyotes achieved success in all three sports.

Currently Coach Mike Divilbiss is the Athletic Director at Lakeland High School in North Idaho. He coached Collegiate women's basketball for 30 years. 21 years as a head coach at Lewis Clark State and the University of Idaho. Associate Head coach at Wisconsin Green Bay and the University of Illinois. 12 of the 30 teams he coached played in National Championships. He has developed All Americans in programs that had never had any prior to or after his time at those schools. His overall record is 558-305. He has a tremendous family. His wife Judy and him have been married for 34 years. They have 2 wonderful children Zach and Chantel. Zach and his wife Taz had their first baby 17 months ago. Zoey is a light for all of us.Divilbiss decided to make basketball his life's passion while growing up in Chicago's northwest suburb of West Dundee after watching Bobby Knight coach a game for Indiana University in 1972, according to a 2004 Moscow-Pullman (Idaho) Daily News profile.He played basketball at Winona State University in Minnesota and graduated in 1981 with a degree in physical education and then was an assistant coach at Eastern Washington University, where he earned his masters. He landed his first head coaching job in 1987 at Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho, and over the next 14 years built the program into an NAIA powerhouse.

In her 29th year as Georgetown High School head basketball coach and girls’ athletic coordinator—Coach Rhonda Farney led Georgetown to its 26th state playoff appearance, making back-to-back 4A State Tournament appearances in 2013 and 2014 and the Elite Eight the past two year. In the past six years, the Lady Eagles have brought home silver, gold, and bronze medals, respectively. More than 66 players whom Farney coached have gone on to play collegiate basketball, and more than 48 who played for her are either coaching or preparing to enter the coaching profession. She has lectured at numerous Texas basketball clinics as well as basketball clinics from Alaska to Florida. Her coaching awards include numerous District Coach of the Year honors, Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Coach of the Year in 2001, Central Texas Coach of the Year four times, and TGCA, Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC), Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA), and WBCA Milestone Awards in 1990 for 300 wins, 1993 for 400 wins, 1996 for 500 wins, 2000 for 600 wins, 2004 for 700 wins, 2008 for 800 wins, and 2011 for 900 career varsity wins. On February 13, 2014, the veteran coach won her 1,00th varsity game against Lumberton in the area round of the state playoffs. Coach Farney is one of only eight girls’ basketball coaches to reach this milestone. Her career record stands at 1,058-289 for a winning percentage of .785.  On the national scene, Farney has chaired the USA Basketball Cadet and Youth Committee, helping select players and coaches for the Summer Youth Development Festival. In summer 2001, she was one of two high school coaches named by the USA Basketball Women’s Collegiate Committee to serve as floor coach for the USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was assistant coach for the 2005 USA Basketball Women’s Youth Development Festival, where her team won the gold medal.Farney was named head coach for the April 2003 WBCA/Nike All-American game in Hartford, Connecticut. Previously, in April 1996, she traveled to Philadelphia as assistant coach for the WBCA/Nike All-American game. Coach Charlie Miller founded ATTACK Basketball Academy in 2009 to help players of any ability succeed. He has coached hundreds of players individually, on teams, and in small groups. He specializes in a combination of mental and physical conditioning tailored to each player. His coaching philosophy revolves around playing through mistakes and giving each player the direction and autonomy to become their own "Inner Coach."  He focuses on process over outcome, meaning development is more important than wins/losses. On top of running his own successful company, he has also been a Head Coach with Breakthrough Basketball since 2016. This position has allowed him to coach thousands of players in camps around the world. And now, not only does he lead multiple specialized camps including Elite Guard, Ballhandling, Finishing, and Shooting and Elite Youth Scoring, he also personally develops and improves new and existing camp curriculum to increase camp effectiveness for attendees. Coach Charlie accepted a scholarship to play at Indiana University at Bloomington under legendary Coach Robert Montgomery Knight. He played all 4 years and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. Jim Huber is currently the Director of Coach Development and a Camp Director at Breakthrough Basketball. Jim has developed and coached NBA players as well as elite prospects who have attended the nation's top college basketball programs, including Duke and Kentucky. Featuring 20+ years of basketball coaching experience at the youth, high school, and college levels, Jim's resume includes 45 championships, 13 runner-up finishes, and 26 final four appearances at regional and national tournaments. He served as the head coach for Mokan Basketball, a Nike sponsored team. Mokan reached the Final Four at the 2012 Peach Jam, which was made up of the top 24 teams from the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. In 2013, Jim coached his team to a 1st place finish at the 2013 Nike Global Challenge. He started his coaching path in 1990 at Griggsville-Perry in Illinois. From there, Buescher was a coaching nomad, making stops at Clark County, Moberly, Glasgow, Southeastern, Trenton, Sturgeon and Mexico. He said he liked to move around early in order to keep seeking the next challenge. That slowed down once he had kids.His longest stop came during an eight-year run at Sturgeon. He won the 2010 Class 2 state title there as Sturgeon went 32-0. Buescher was named the MBCA Coach of the Year and was also the National Federation’s Missouri Coach of the Year. Buescher’s won plenty of coaching awards, but those don’t mean as much to him as the relationships formed along the way. After Sturgeon, Buescher coached at Mexico for a few seasons. He soon learned he liked the atmosphere of smaller schools more and moved to La Plata, where he’s been the last four seasons. Now getting ready for year No. 31, he has no immediate plans of slowing down. Nichole is in her 4th year at HIES.  Coach Dixon's team is coming off back-to-back region championships and the school's 3rd state championship.  The 2 years prior, her teams finished runner-up.  Before coming to HIES, Coach Dixon was an assistant girls basketball coach at the Wesleyan School and was a part of seven girls basketball state championships.  She was also the head girls softball coach at Wesleyan.  Her softball teams won 3 consecutive region championships and finished state runner-up twice.  Coach Dixon played basketball at Mercer University and earned a BA in Biology with a minor in Christianity.  Additionally, she earned a masters degree from Peidmont College.  She currently attends Trinity Anglican Christian Church and enjoys paddle boarding in her free time.

Coach Hunziker a 1996 graduate from Clark County (Kahoka, MO) which is where he gained his love for basketball playing for his father Gary in Elementary school followed by great coaches in Kevin Garner and Greg Buescher in High School. During that time Jaryt knew that he wanted to get into Education and coaching following High School. He attended both Southeastern Community College in Iowa (1996-1998) and Culver Stockton College in Canton, MO (1998-2001) where he earned a BS Degree in Education.  Following college, he coached at both Clark County (boys) and Scotland County (girls/boys) in Northeast Missouri. While coaching the Scotland County girls they played for 3 District Titles winning one in 2011.He just concluded his 7th season of coaching the Boonville Lady Pirates where his team ended the 2018-19 season at 21-4. Over the last 7 seasons they have won 5 Conference Championships, 4 District Titles, made 2 Quarterfinal appearances which included a 3rd Place finish in Class 3 in 2015 (30-1). Overall record at Boonville is 149-43.  Overall I have accumulated over 250+ wins during that time. His wife Amy and him will be celebrating their 15th Anniversary this summer. They have three children Lorelai (11 yrs), Hayden (7 yrs) and Grant (1 yr).
