Building a Very Narrow Bridge - Listening Sessions
If you have reached this form, you have received the communication sent out by the URJ on behalf of Guila Benchimol and Alissa Ackerman. We will be hosting listening sessions with victims and survivors of various kinds of harm that will focus on your needs and wishes from the URJ as part of the first phase of restorative justice processes. The needs and wishes we hope to identify are related to the instances where the URJ has caused harm,  allowed for harm to occur, or responded poorly to the harms that have been pointed out to them. We ask that you answer this short confidential form to help us best organize and schedule these sessions.
We will be in touch to schedule a time to meet between September 28 - November 10, 2022 and we will send you a list of questions that you can anticipate being asked about.

Did you make a formal report to the Debevoise & Plimpton Investigators or to the URJ? If you have not made a report, you can still participate in a listening session focused on your needs and wishes. Anyone who wishes to make a report or share an experience of abuse or misconduct at URJ worksites, camps or programs may do so through one of several reporting channels found here: https://urj.org/blog/urj-ethics-accountability-update-august-5-2022. *
Were you a minor or an adult when you were harmed? *
Where under the URJ umbrella were you harmed (E.g., camp, synagogue, workplace, summer trip, event, etc.)?  *
Do you identify as a victim, survivor, or something else?  *
Are you part of ACT, Women's Rabbinic Network (WRN), or any other group advocating on behalf of victims and survivors at the URJ? *
Would you prefer to participate in a focus group (with other victims and survivors) or an interview (where you meet with Guila and Alissa one-on-one)?  *
Is there anything you would like us to know before we meet with you?
