2022 École Champs Vallée School Running Club
Dear Parent(s) and / or Guardian(s),

Starting on Thursday, September 1st, the Champs Vallée Running Club will begin training.  Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of September during the noon break (11:25 for junior high and 12:00 for elementary).
The running club will meet at the northeast corner of the Champs Vallée soccer fields.  Students are encouraged to wear clothing and shoes suitable for athletics and the weather.  Transportation home after each practice will be the responsibility of you and your child.  

The club is open to all students in Grades 3 to 9.  No experience is necessary, as the focus will be on participation.  The training runs will follow a variety of 1 to 2 kilometer routes near the school.  The runs will be supervised by staff members.
 
Parent volunteers are welcome to participate by walking or running with the students.  

Optional Meets:
Coloniale Classic- September 20th (Grades 2 to 6)
LDAA Cross-Country Meet -September 27th (Grades 4 to 9)

Event information, permission, and fees will be added in PowerSchool.  Students will only be signed up for the extra events if parents complete the forms in PowerSchool once they are added.
