PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Driving to school is a privilege; not a right.  Tardiness or absences for reasons of personal transportation are unacceptable, because the Lake Local Schools provide bus transportation to and from school.

Driving Regulations:
1. The speed limit is 15 M.P.H. on Lake School Property.
2. Reckless operation is strictly prohibited.  (e.g. speeding, spinning tires, cutting in and out of traffic, etc.)
3. Student drivers are permitted to exit from the student parking lot prior to the buses departing.  However, once the buses begin to depart, student drivers are to STOP and YIELD the right-of-way until ALL buses have departed.
4. Harassment of school buses by student drivers that interferes in any way with the driver’s safe transportation of students to and from school will result in immediate denial of driving privileges to school for the remainder of the year and possible legal action.
5. Student drivers are prohibited from entering or exiting the Lake Elementary School driveway.
6. Students are to drive in an orderly fashion at all times.  Students must be aware of intersecting traffic.
7. Racing of engines or loud playing of radios is prohibited.
8. Student drivers are responsible for the behavior of their passengers.
9. Excessive tardiness of student drivers may result in a denial of driving privileges.
10. Cars parked on school premises may be searched at any time a reasonable suspicion exists to do so.  

Parking Regulations:
1. Parking tags are to be displayed in the bottom right hand corner of student’s windshield.
2. Students are prohibited from parking in spaces designated for visitors or the disabled.
3. Absolutely no parking on grass surface.

After submitting your form, please pay your $5 to Mrs. Cutcher to pick up your parking sticker.
