HELLO AMATEUR, PROFESSIONAL AND YOUTH BAKERS! SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem is excited to host its 5th annual Christmas Maker's Market, and our 3rd annual Christmas Cookie Contest. Our goal for the market is to provide a fun event for the community to buy handcrafted Christmas presents from unique vendors, eat delicious food, enjoy activities, take in our festive indoor and outdoor Christmas decor and lights, and taste your wonderful cookies. Each contestant will be required to make 24 (two dozen) Christmas cookies for judging.

LOCATION & DATES
SCERA's Christmas Maker's Market will be held Friday, December 8th from 4-8pm, and Saturday, December 9th from 10am -  8pm. Although the market is an outdoor event, your cookies will be on display in the lobby of the beautifully decorated and historic SCERA Center for the Arts. You must bring in your cookies to SCERA on December 9th by 10:30 AM.  

ENTRANCE FEE
Entrance to the contest is $5. You will pay at the end of this form through a secure Paypal link. You do not need to have a PayPal account, all major credit cards are accepted.

JUDGING & PRIZES
There will be two winners for the cookie contest. The first will be "Judge's Choice" where the winner will be decided by a panel of expert judges. The next award will be "People's Choice," and will be judged by the public as they come see and taste your cookies between 11am and 5pm. Each winner will receive SCERA tickets and swag worth $150. Awards will be announced on Saturday December 9th at 6pm.  

CONTEST RULES & INFORMATION
- Each contestant will bake 24 cookies, one will be used for our panel of judges, and the rest will be handed out for public voting between 11am and 5pm. Please wrap each cookie individually in a clear, cellophane sleeve or cookie bag.
- Judging will be based on four criteria: Overall Appearance, Originality, and Taste.
- In addition to advertising provided by SCERA, bakers are encouraged to use social media to promote their cookie entry, and have your followers come in and vote!
