- The applicant must be a Hong Kong citizen and aged 18 or above;
- The applicant must provide address proof within the last 3 months;
- Each address can only apply once;
- The family income of the applicant must not exceed the income limit of SWD Short-term Food Assistance Service* (with proof of family income in the last 6 months)

https://www.swd.gov.hk/en/index/site_pubsvc/page_family/sub_listofserv/id_foodassist/ - For each successful application, a period of 1 year assistance will be granted. If the applicant does not redeem at the machines for consecutive 2 months, the application will be disqualified automatically.
