April Community Service Event Registration

The Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding community members in need by providing access to nutritious supplemental groceries. They're the only organization in Arlington, VA, solely devoted to providing Arlington residents access to nutritious, supplemental groceries — free of charge. AFAC depends on the help of hundreds of volunteers to carry out this mission. During this event, we will be bagging produce, bagging and sealing dry goods, and sorting non-perishable, donated food.

Let's come together and embody the spirit of "Onye ọ bụla na-eri" as we volunteer at the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Your participation in this event not only supports our community but also underscores the importance of collective action in ensuring that everyone eats. Location — 2708 S Nelson St, Arlington, VA 22206  

(Volunteers must be at least 12 years old; 12 and 13 year old are welcome with a parent/guardian)
