This template was created based on extensive research, professional experience, and industry and alumni feedback.

How does this template differ from many others?

It highlights educational accomplishments by outlining relevant coursework and includes a projects section which is often the most directly transferable experience/knowledge students and recent alumni have. It is also formatted for ATS (applicant tracking systems) which some templates, such as ones provided through Canva, are not formatted for.

The template and accompanying tips were created and curated by USP's Director of Industry Relations and Student Professional Development Jennifer Eller.

Next Steps: Having your resume reviewed

Once students/alumni have completed a full draft of their resume they should meet with the UCSD Career Center for a resume review.

AFTER meeting with the Career Center students can request an additional resume review with USP's Director of Industry Relations and Student Professional Development Jennifer Eller.
