130 Women 2022 - 2023 Project
The 130 Women team would really appreciate your feedback to help guide our future projects. Please take 5min to share your experience with us. Thank you

130 Women explores the contributions of local women to the place and society we live in today.

This Goldfields Women's Health Care Centre project, led by four local artists working with the community through a series of residencies, workshops, and community engagements, has created a body of work recognising women from our Goldfields history.

These women's stories are told through written and spoken words complimented by a diverse visual art installation showcasing work by over 80 creatives with connections to the Goldfields. The collaboration of over 130 artworks also celebrates the 130-year anniversary of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in 2023. Artworks and props collected for the installation were sold in a charity auction, raising over $30 000 for the Goldfields beneficiaries carefully selected to suit each featured woman.
