Bird-a-Thon is a fun, fast-paced fundraiser to see how many bird species we can see in a week while raising money to support future club events, trips, and activities. 100% of your money is donated to the OSU Bird Nerds club fund!
HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE?
There are two ways to donate: you can pledge a certain amount of money per species found OR make a single, flat donation.
*Species count for the per-species donations is of all OREGON teams combined. This will likely range from 135-215 species. If you donate to the eCampus team, you'll donate based on the eCampus Eider's species count rather than the Oregon teams' count. This could be highly variable since members are all across the country, but you will receive a surprise additional thank you gift if you donate to the eCampus Eiders!
WHO DO I PAY?Once you've submitted this form, you will be in touch to confirm and thanked for your pledge. We will e-mail you again after the Bird-a-Thon is complete to discuss payment options, as well as the total donation amount for those who made a per-species pledge.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?100% of the funds raised will go toward the OSU Bird Nerds, supporting our events, trips, members, and more. The Bird Nerds are an undergraduate club at Oregon State University that focuses on enhancing the ornithological education of its members and other participants.
