Support Staff for Marannook is open to rising 10th graders- completed high school! There are two primary support staff areas: maintenance and kitchen. Maintenance workers will take part in learning and caring for the grounds at Marannook as well as serving in specific activities throughout the camp during camper weeks. Kitchen staff (kitchies) are responsible for meal prep and cleaning. At Marannook, we see each other as family, so we serve together in defined areas but we are always prepared to serve wherever is needed! As support staff, you will be discipled and have opportunities to grow alongside each other as brothers and sisters in Christ!
In order for us to accomplish the goals of the summer for both you and camp, it is best to have support staff that can serve for a continuous period of time. We've listed dates you can select below. Please make sure you fill out the entire application. All meals and lodging are taken care of while you are here and you will be paid for your time here at Marannook!
Transportation to and from Marannook must be provided by your parents or another staffer here at Marannook. We will communicate details of arrival time, off time, and when you leave once you are confirmed as a support staff!
There will be mandatory training that takes place for all support staff on June 2nd and 3rd.
Pledge for new and returning support staff:
By submitting this document, and on the basis of being accepted, I am willing to respect, honor, and submit to the authority placed over me during my time at Marannook. I understand that this applies to the entire summer while on staff. It is understood that by applying to Marannook, I choose to cooperate fully in every regard and to explore to the maximum every opportunity available for personal spiritual growth. I give Marannook permission to contact the references listed and other persons who might be able to give Marannook further information about your character. I understand that if I demonstrate a different attitude or poor quality of service, I will be subject to dismissal. I have discussed this with my parents and I have considered coming to Marannook with much prayer and thought.
