SAMR Framework
This evaluation rubric is based on the Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition model developed by Dr. Ruben R. Puentedura. As you progress through the rubric think about the following:
Does the .....
Levels of Rating:
1 = Ineffective - The technology being evaluated makes no significant improvement to the learning experience. This tool or program will not support any instructional strategies.

2 = Inadequate - The technology being evaluated makes an insignificant improvement to the learning experience. This tool or program has very little support for instructional strategies.

3 = Effective - The technology being evaluated makes a moderate improvement to the learning experience. This tool or program may support instructional strategies.

4 = Transforming - The technology being evaluated makes a significant improvement in the learning experience. This tool or program will support instructional strategies.
