Due to the impact of the pandemic and how it changed the world and shifted the experiences of social interactions, we as dancers and artists, had to pivot the way we operated, and monetized our work. I am reaching out to the community of my peers to collect data through this questionnaire, that covers a wide range of topics, allowing me to gather valuable insights about our industries financial, studio space, community, environmental, and ownership concerns. According to Gitnux.com Dance Industry Statistics, “The Dance Studio industry alone in the US is estimated to generate $4.7B in revenue in 2023.” I can only imagine the revenue other multi-faceted industries are generating from singers to painters and etc. Combined this is truly AMAZING! And my question is, how can we create an eco-system where we can shine our creative light and build sustainable wealth at the same time. How do we set ourselves up for when we energetically can't 'do our thang' anymore.
