Learn to Skate with Sugar & Spin
Thank you for booking into our Learn to Skate session this weekend. Here is all the info you’ll need to know before taking part, as well as a short form to gather necessary information from you.  Any personal information you provide will not be shared with anyone else and will be deleted one month after you stop attending lessons.

Covid-19 & Other Safety Measures
Please follow government guidelines regarding Covid-19. If you have any symptoms please do not attend the session.
Social Distancing will be observed throughout class. Please maintain 2m distance from anyone outside of your household. This also means we will not be spotting or assisting physically. We will use demonstration and description to communicate movement. If you are unsure of anything or need clarification just let us know. Safety is the priority.
Loaner skates (where being used) will be quarantined for 5 days after each use.
Protective equipment (kneepads, wristguards, helmet) is not provided but is recommended. Falls and bumps are a usual part of learning to skate; grazed hands and knees don’t have to be.
Because we are outside, the wearing of masks is not compulsory but you may of course wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.
We are certified First Aiders and there will be a first aid kit on site.
Please bring your own water bottle and do not share.
There is no toilet available on site
Please wear sunscreen if needed.

Cancellations & wet weather
If you cancel more than 24 hours before class you will receive a full refund. If it is less than 24 hours, we can discuss postponing to a later date.
Because classes are outside, we cannot go ahead if it is raining heavily. If class is rained off we will email you an hour before to let you know and you may choose either to postpone to the following week or to seek a refund.
If we have begun class and have to stop because of rain before we are half way through the session, we will refund half the price of the class.

Young people/under 16s
These sessions are intended for adults/over 16s. You may bring under 16s with you with the understanding that you are responsible for them during the session and that you are also taking part. Under 16s must wear a helmet.
