- What is PayPay DevTalk?

PayPay DevTalk is a platform for the developer community to learn recent technologies, share the technical challenges and to ask questions to PayPay Engineers.

Some developers tend to think that SQL database is hard or even impossible to scale. Well, that’s not the case at least here in PayPay. As No.1 payment app in Japan, we are using SQL databases in a scalable manner as well as their NoSQL counterparts. Come to hear what experience our developers want to share! - Who are we?
PayPay, a fintech company, that achieved more than 43M users within around 3 years since its launch in 2018 has hugely diversified employees who are from 40 different countries.
