Community with others is an integral part of our spiritual growth. Whether we are just finding out more about Christianity and what the Bible says about life, or we are seeking to deepen our relationship with Christ, small group ministry is about meeting with others in a safe environment where we can disciple, grow and encourage one another in Christ.
While discipleship can come in different forms (top down, peer to peer), our small group ministry is designed to provide peer to peer discipleship, meeting with others in a similar life stage. In addition to small groups, participants are strongly encouraged to seek out one on one discipleship relationships (ie. someone whom they can be discipled by, or someone whom they can disciple).
Typical small group activities may include discussions, Bible/book studies, prayer time, social activities, sharing meals, etc.
Given the current limited number of small group leaders, we ask that you register for one group only. Should you have specific questions or concerns about which group is most appropriate for you after reading the provided descriptions, please speak with any of the small group leaders.
Please note:
- We recognize each of our life stages and individual circumstances change. To balance this with minimizing disruption to established small groups, commitment periods to the selected group will be for one year.
- While best efforts will be made to accommodate each individual selection, the Mosaic Leadership Team reserves the right to final placements.
- You will receive an email from your small group leader to confirm your small group enrollment by early October.
