Description: Texas Fin-Fur-Conservation Merit Badge University and Trail to First Class Day. The Scouts have an opportunity to earn one or two merit badges, attend a Trail to First Class classes to help with requirements need to get to First Class, or work on a Conservation Project that will give the Scouts service hours that are needed for Star and Life Rank. As a Life Scout you need to do 6 hours of service and at least 3 of those hours need to be a conservation project.

Down below the Scouts need to choose what they want to do in the two sessions on Saturday. They can choose to do a 3-hour conservation project and a merit badge (recommended for Star or Life Scout that needs volunteer hours). They can sign up to do two merit badges (one in each session), or they can do a Trail to First Class and a merit badge. (We cover Trail to First class but if your scout hasn't come very often then this is a good choice.)
