Are you interested in meeting with lawmakers within your legislative districts about environmental issues? Join the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter's In-District Lobby team! By joining the team you will receive opportunities to meet with lawmakers, set up meetings with them, and influence them on environmental issues. We will also provide resources so you feel excited and prepared to do this! Meeting with lawmakers in-district is a great way to be an environmental advocate and be impactful in doing so since you are a constituent of the lawmaker! The goal will be to build relationships and visibility between the Sierra Club, its members and supporters and lawmakers within your legislative districts as well as advocate for environmental priority issues and ensure that they are at the forefront of lawmakers work and are being acted upon appropriately in Lansing.
