HMS Robotics/First Tech Challenge Pilot Program Interest Form

The HHS Robotics Team received a $1000 grant to start a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team. We are piloting this program with 7th and 8th grade siblings and friends of siblings of the HHS Team.

The middle school team will compete in this year's FIRST Tech Challenge's game CENTERSTAGE! The FTC team will meet in the high school's robotics lab Mondasy from 3-5pm and Saturdays from 2-4pm from December through February to build an 18in robot. The team will compete in a 2 qualifying events: February 4th and February 28th and potentially qualify for the Pennsylvania State Championships at the beginning of March.

The middle school team will be mentored by the high's school FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team members and supervised by the high school robotics activity sponsor and other adult chaperones.
