I feel additional training is needed to provide staff with research-based tools and strategies to help SpEd student with academic struggles
I feel additional training is needed to provide staff with research-based tools and strategies to help SpEd student with behavioral struggles
I'd like to see SpEd students in their general education classrooms, regardless of academic performance or class size, because this time with peer modeling of grade-level skills is most important
I feel that students need to receive challenging instruction at their performance level in order to access appropriate intervention and address learning gaps before students enter high school; for struggling learners, data driven progress and accelerated intervention is most important
I feel like improvements are needed to include SpEd students within the campus community activities; access to these events does not seem equitable to me
I feel like communication between families and SpEd staff needs improvement; I do not feel I was able to receive requested information/feedback in a timely manner when requested
