Essentials
Please make sure you wear loose warm clothing and footwear you do not mind getting wet. Please bring with you spare change of warm clothing and footwear to get change in case you get wet. Please remember to bring a towel to dry, water to drink and a piece of fruit and a cereal bar or other snack that you might like !
Venue
Meet up at Morpeth Riverside, by the green container at the back of the sports centre.
Structure
This sessions will offer new comers with the opportunity to try different disciplines of paddle sports to include , canoeing, Kayaking, and paddle boarding.
Intermediate paddlers (those with some but not much experience will be encouraged to continue to try a different craft as often as possible until they are ready to choose one single craft for a term so we can do some specific craft skills development.
Advanced intermediate paddlers will choose a craft for a term and will train to develop skills and techniques associated to that particular craft and recognised by the national governing Body. Awards and Grade exams ( paddle power or star awards) can be arranged upon request and , and will be offered periodically.
