ChessKid is all about growing the game of chess for kids around the world. We make a complicated strategy game fun, social and exciting.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a talented social media strategist. You’re creative, resourceful, relentless and have a growth mindset. You bring an outside the box approach. You’re capable of steadily building and growing existing social media ideas but also opportunistically look for homerun opportunities. You combine a data driven approach with a keen intuition.

You’re driven to connect with educators, parents and the larger chess community but also able to recognize stories that transcend ChessKid’s traditional audience. You enjoy working on strategic partnerships, content and advertising.

REQUIREMENTS

*Build, maintain, execute our social media presence with a growth mindset
*Experience with all major social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube.
*Skilled writer who can produce regular blog content
*Maintain an active role in strategic content partnerships
*Synthesize data with Hootsuite or similar program
*Brainstorm new strategies for innovative digital marketing
*Create digital ads
*Keeps an eye on statistics and numerical feedback to track success
*TikTok/Video Production experience a plus
*Graphic Design experience also a plus
*Understanding of general SEO a plus
*Understanding of chess a huge plus


OPPORTUNITY
This is a part time position with a chance to grow into full time. For less experienced applicants studying digital marketing, this is a internship opportunity.
