Planning Team descriptions:
Field Activities & Stations: This team would help plan a variety of field activities each week. Games and activities could include rotations of short "mini games", large group games (such as Soccer or Kickball), "low stake games" (no winning/losing), obstacle courses, etc. The games can relate to each week's themes but can also just be exciting that any kid would love to try out! Members of this team would help set up and break down field equipment needed for these activities. They would also need to ensure all materials needed are in storage or can be purchased.

Craft Activities & Stations: This team would help plan creative and unique crafts that kids will love to make. Crafts should relate to each week's theme. Members of this team would be responsible for making model crafts with given materials and assisting kids in making their own. They would also need to ensure all materials are in storage or can be purchased.

Pick a Project Activities & Stations: A unique feature to our program is a structured time where kids & staff have opportunities to show off special hobbies or interests. This time is also set aside for staff to plan hands on activities and learning, team building games, or science experiments. Past projects have included time with Legos, bubble making & mixing, water sprinkler games, STEM challenges (like spaghetti and marshmallow towers), etc. The possibilities here are endless! Members of this team would come up with many creative ideas and ensure each group has a selection of age appropriate activities. They would also need to ensure all materials needed are in storage or can be purchased.

Free Play / Special Activities: Members in this team would be responsible for helping other staff and CITs in planning and executing "whole program" activities such as the Talent Show, "Sunshine Town", Scavenger Hunts, and End of Summer Carnival. This team will also be responsible for assisting the other teams during their planning each day.
