Our advanced shoemaking workshops focus on traditional shoemaking techniques of 2 classic styles - Oxford and Derby, from the 18th century, in an era where machinery has yet to be invented to manufacture shoes, and shoemaking techniques are made by hand using basic tools.

In this workshop, you will learn 2 classic soling techniques - “BLAKE STITCH” also known as Single Sole Stitching and “GOOD YEAR WELTING” also known as Double Sole Stitching. This is a technical workshop, where you will be guided through the steps of constructing the shoes from the uppers to the soles. You will also learn about shoemaking tools, and how to maintain them and sharpen them.

我們的進階做鞋班所用的技術主要源自18世紀的手工造鞋方法，而當時使用的技術一般已手工具和純手藝完成皮鞋，很適合現代人在家中自己造鞋使用。

我們選定了Oxford和Derby兩款，用以上造鞋方法，再配合單底(Blake Stitching)或雙底(Good Year Welting) 大底結構在進階班給大家選擇，從中進一步認識傳統鞋藝的根𥕛。
