Dante Alighieri Society of Santa Cruz Scholarship
The Dante Alighieri Society of Santa Cruz was chartered in 2002 to encourage and promote the appreciation of Italian culture within Santa Cruz County. 

This $1,000 scholarship awards achievement in Italian language, history, art, art history or industry and was created for students
  • continuing on at Cabrillo or going on to a 4-year college or university; AND
  • majoring or minoring in Italian language, history, art, art history, or industry;  OR
  • obtaining a teaching credential in language, history, art, or art history.
   This award is given in honor of Roger Fargeon, beloved Dante Alighieri Society language teacher.
