Ethics Training Scholarship for Victorian Interpreters and Translators Application Form
This initiative is a partnership between The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing (DFFH) and All Graduates Interpreting and Translating to undertake “Ethics and Professionalism for Interpreters and Translators Online Course“.

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), Victorian Government, “Ethics Training Scholarship for Interpreters and Translators” project aims to provide opportunities to the significant proportion of T&I practitioners in Victoria who have not had the opportunity of completing formal Translating & Interpreting training.

Through the project, the successful applicants will receive Ethics training designed and delivered by expert T&I academics.

The training will be provided through the online self-paced course, “Ethics and Professionalism for Interpreters and Translators” which focuses on the development and application of interpreters’ and translators’ knowledge and application of the AUSIT Code of Ethics.

The online course is produced within All Graduates’ in-house Training and Professional Development Conversations: Interpreting & Translating.

The scholarship is offered for interpreters and translators with NAATI Recognised Practicing Interpreter/Translator and Certified Provisional Interpreter credentials as well as Unaccredited practitioners in the following languages:

Burmese, Chaldean Neo-Aramaic, Chin (Matu), Dinka, Falam Chin, Gujarati, Hakha Chin, Hakka Chinese, Hazaragi, Hokkien, Kiswahili, Kurdish, Malayalam, Mizo Chin, Nepalese, Nuer, Oromo, Pashto, Sgaw Karen, Shanghainese, Sudanese Arabic, Tedim Chin, Telugu, Teo Chew, Tetum, Tibetan, Tigrinya, Timorese Hakka, Tongan, Zo (Alt Name Zomi)

This scholarship is only available to Victorian based Interpreters and Translators.
